International violin master classes by Bohuslav Matoušek and his distinguished graduates

The courses take place on 14. - 21. 8. 2026.. The course fee is 13 000 (Czech crowns) or 540 €. It includes 4 individual lessons, accommodation for 7 nights with breakfast and free attendance to the concerts and masterclasses.
On Friday, August 14, the opening benefit concert "For the Castle" will take place, featuring soloists Bohuslav Matoušek, Patrik Sedlář and other former graduates accompanied by and other former graduates from the chamber orchestra Musica Minore.

The final concert of the students will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Furthermore, during the courses, a masterclass by the outstanding violinist and soloist, concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Jan Mráček, will take place on Monday, August 17th.

The interpretation academy is proud to be held under a patronage of Mr. Constantin Kinský, owner of the castle Žďár nad Sázavou. The magnificent and inspirational premises of the castle will be available for the individual lessons and practice hours, too.

The complete course fee has to be payed until 31. 7. 2026.
